Lots going on this weekend in our world here at Ev-entz! Yesterday we provided PA in Newport city centre for performances from Bjorn the Polar Bear as part of the Christmas Lights ‘switch on’. We also had Lit music stands out on hire in Bristol for Tubular Brass’ performance of Tubular Bells in St. George’s Hall.
Today we had a bright and early start, providing orchestral percussion, logistics and stage management for the Cardiff University Symphony Orchestra in St. Davids Hall. The orchestra are performing ‘The Battle of the Somme’, a musical score accompaniment to a film in commemoration of the centenary of the battle (also, another great opportunity to showcase some of our demo percussion from Yamaha Band & Orchestra!).
We also have 3 vans of percussion, backline and stage crew heading down to London’s Royal Albert Hall for 3 days of Music for Youth Proms, which is all set to be 3 very busy and intense days of fantastic youth music!
All this, and its not even Christmas yet!!
