What's included in an orchestral percussion section?
Backline hire prices vary depending on the equipment, duration, and delivery distance. A standard drum kit starts from around £150 per day, guitar and bass amp combos from £60-£120, and keyboard setups from £80. Full festival backline packages are quoted individually. Do you provide orchestral technicians?
Yes. Our experienced technicians handle setup, tuning, stage management, and show support. We regularly work with BBC NOW, Sinfonia Cymru, and major orchestras. We also provide tour accompaniment for traveling orchestras.
Can you support touring orchestras?
Absolutely. We provide percussion, crew, and transport for touring orchestras. We travel with Sinfonia Cymru and have supported National Children's Orchestras, National Youth Orchestra of Wales, and international touring groups including Yale University Wind Band.
What about brass band competitions?
We're specialists in brass band percussion. We supply the National Championships at Royal Albert Hall and Cheltenham, plus regional contests. Complete percussion sections available with technician support if required.
Do you hire flightcases for instruments?
Yes — timpani flightcases, harp boxes, and double bass flightcases available. Essential for protecting valuable instruments during transport and tours. We use these when supporting National orchestras.
